After discovering Lagaffe Tales a year ago on the world wide web, we decided to keep an eye on the record label founded by Jónbjörn Finnbogason & Viktor Birgisson. Once the time was right we decided to send a message to Lagaffe Tales. It is always interesting how people reply and we think that communication reveals a lot about personalities. Love and positive vibes is what we received from Lagaffe Tales, and most importantly; a real journey through Jónbjörn musical selection for the mix he prepared for us.

Jónbjörn is based in Berlin since a year which makes us very happy! He moved from Reykjavík, Iceland where the record label was founded.
Lagaffe Tales:
The lack of some sort of framework around the Reykjavík house scene spawned the idea of making something happen and the dream was to launch a label that they could be proud of.
The style and image they try to portray are the more down to earth and unique kind of sound. They have been releasing local talent but keep their arms open for the right kind of sound.
Iceland has been known to provide creativity and inspiration to the artist through amazing natural sceneries season after season and it is our goal to share the produce and channeling it forward.
With Four Vinyl releases (12 inch) including artists like Felix Leifur, Davíð & Hjalti, Malouane, Coeo, Moony Me, Sune, Moff & Tarkin.
