Release Date: 27.01.23
Swiss duo Br!tch return to Déepalma with a standout three-track EP filled with weighty grooves and refreshing House-focused vibes for ‘Slap The Bass’.
Following releases on Rawsome, Baikonur, Nite Grooves and many more, Swiss duo Br!tch are back on Déepalma with an upbeat three-tracker featuring the previously released ‘Burning’ which featured on our Balearic compilation series in 2022. ‘Slap The Bass’ comes with a generous serving of François and Jérémie’s signature bottom-heavy funk-infused House sound, perfect for wanting dance floors and big-room club systems.
Opening with the title cut, ‘Slap The Bass’ comes in hot with a rolling flurry of thumping kicks, crisp percussive drive and jazzy accents. Pulsating past its prominent bass notes and silky melodic layers, the track’s catchy vocal hook provides the finishing touch to this soulfully refreshing club number.
‘What Do You Want From Me’ comes next, bringing more terrace-ready vibes with an onslaught of undulating grooves and stripped-back sonics. Another rhythmic bassline drives the track forwards alongside creative offbeat splashes of synths, instrumental fills and rich strings. It wouldn’t be a Br!tch record without another affecting vocal, providing the signature touch on another impressive track.
The release closes on ‘Burning’, bringing chugging drum work and endless percussive movement throughout the mix. Brought together by atmospheric breaks, flooded with refreshingly rich Housey energy from start to finish, it’s the perfect ending to this invigoratingly feel good EP.
About Br!tch

In parallel to their performances in several clubs and festivals, the Swiss duo is actively working on music production to share a more personal vision of their musical universe. Since they launched this project, they had the opportunity to collaborate with respected labels such as Nite Grooves, Monoside, Déepalma, Freakin909, or Rawsome Recordings and received support from Paco Osuna, Lexlay, Yves Murasca, Juanito, Claptone, Milk & Sugar, DJ PP, or Mr. V to name a few
